Martin puts his heart and soul into this place. He is incredibly talented in his work (as are his employees) and trustworthy in his business dealings.
In October 2013, I had Artisan install a new hood on my Honda Civic to repair damage done by collision with a deer. The work looked great, was priced right, and I was very happy to have my car looking like new again. However, this past March, I noticed the hood was already starting to rust. After showing it to Martin, he immediately offered to replace it at no charge and even offered to split the cost for a rental car--as I said, very honest man! When I came back a couple days later to pick it up, it turned out he was unable to get ahold of the part supplier for the hood (hoping to get at least a partial refund on the defective product), meaning he had to swallow the cost for the old hood and labor for the new. He did it without question.
The only things you need to keep in mind about this place are:
(a) They are always incredibly busy (for good reason!), and Martin is his own secretary (he'll be answering the phone and taking messages while meeting with you), so they may not remember exactly what day/time you agree to pickup your car. Make sure you call a few times after dropping your car off to confirm when your car will be ready for pickup.
(b) Since they are always so busy, their work may not be perfect. I had some rust on my right fender removed and when I got my car back there was a dried drip from the repaint showing. Guessing they were rushing. I was in haste to get my car back, so that may have been the cause.
(c) Their location is very cramped, so be careful when parking that you give yourself and other cars enough space to pull out. (That's all you need is a fender bender at a body work shop!)
All in all, a fantastic place to do business. I highly recommend.
