Cox Sux, but all other surrounding services are even worse. If you sign up for cox, the promotional rate is decent but once your 12 months are up your rate will go up significantly. I mean like 40% increase. They're very much like cell phone companies who only focus on new customers and screw over loyal customers who aren't checking our their rates or deals. So here is what you do. BE A NEW CUSTOMER ALWAYS. Mark your calendar when you signed up and when your 12 months are done. CANCEL. Sign up again. You cannot re-signup with your own name, so use your spouse's name. Its the only way you can enjoy THE SAME SERVICE, for the LOWEST RATE. I just renewed my contract today for 39.99 a month for 15 down and 2 up. If I hadn't? My monthly would be 62.99 for the same service. Shameful. That's an extra 275.88 a year for no reason.
