Pomegranate's is a really awesome vegetarian/vegan place, even for us meat eaters out there. They really do a fantastic job of keeping their food flavorful and interesting, it almost makes including meat in your food seem like cheating. I had the supreme burrito and have to recommend it as it really was delish. While the menu may seem daunting at first and all the 'meat' in quotes seems odd, you get over it real quick once you get your food and get a taste. If you are like me and tend to stay away from vegan places, this is defiantly the one to risk it at!
The coffee here is also good. Now that we've had many years of the Starbucks $5 espresso drinks, the price point seems reasonable and you will find much better quality here than at a mass market place. They also have some really interesting vegan 'cream' that is quite good.
Also, good hint for those looking for food they will recognize. Head over before 2pm for breakfast/brunch. Their egg based dishes are excellent, tasty and completely reasonable for those seeking traditional protein.
Only warning, the price point is a little above our normal range! It just seems like more of a $12 instead of $18 place to me, but not enough to knock it down a star since you won't be able to find a legit comparison point. It really is unique so give it a try and decide for yourself.
