I have had consistently good service there and always found the staff to be very nice. It might cost a bit more than most student places for a cut, but it is worth it as there is virtually no waiting time (of course you have to book an appointment). I have had haircuts that take over 2 hours at other student places, that is not the case here.
I found it because I admired a coworkers new haircut and asked her where she got it done. Now it's my regular place. I've also had my hair highlighted there, and it turned out really well. Don't be nervous about getting service from students as they can always consult with their teacher (and the teacher will come and check out their work at some point as well). I highly recommend it.
