Bagel Etc is one of those establishments that I can see myself frequenting to enjoy my morning coffee and a quick bite. I immediately fell in love the atmosphere and decor. This also used to be one of Leonard Cohen's favourite bagel cafes in Montréal.
Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and seated quickly. The employees and owner are all extremely friendly. The menu isn't super big, however, there are options for everyone. My only complaint about the menu is the lack of options for those with allergies and/ or food restrictions. With that said, they have my go-tos (potatoes and fruit), so it's no different than any other breakfast establishment that I would go to. Prices are great and portions are big. I enjoyed both my potatoes and coffee. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was pretty busy. Moreover, I can tell that this is the type of place that takes great care of its regulars and will warm up to you with time.
