Dovercourt Park is only really known to locals and I really like it that way. It's like your neighbourhood kids schoolyard combined with a tiny version of Trinity Bellwoods.
Kids have two playgrounds based on age, swing area, a wading pool and larger toys from the community to be shared (kitchen, cars etc.).
Seniors love it in the morning and use it as an area for their morning exercise.
Athletes can play or watch baseball every now and then. There is also a tennis court.
Pokémon hunters love it due to the number of pokestops.
Great place for dog walkers, especially when there are no baseball games in play - but sometimes they don't pick up after their dogs...
