My experience with this company had to do with a series of unfortunate events. To begin with, I gave them my iPod touch on a Wed when it needed a new charger port. They do not keep that item in stock and only order parts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ok, no big deal. Saturday rolls around and they call to say that their lead tech (the only person who could do this job) was out due to a family emergency. Understandable. They said he would be back the following week and could replace it then. I wait; no news. Eventually after I've tried checking in a few times, they call asking for my Apple ID so they can backup my data because music and video are not working but they think updating it will help. Ok, I give it to them. Then again I get nothing for a while but eventually they tell me they had to order a new part bc they think the one they got was broken. They order another one. And another one. By this point about three weeks have gone by. They finally call again saying that my iPods mainframe or motherboard or whatever is also damaged, and they advice that I buy a replacement. They tell me that I can use a majority of my $90 payment to go towards a new iPod (which they will find for me). I would have preferred to get a refund and buy a new one myself but their refund maximum is only $40. So, I decide to use them but I tell them I would like to spend no more than another $100 on one if possible. Another week goes by before they tell me they found one for $225 but is 16gb whereas mine was 32. In the meantime I had found a website that sold used ones for around the price I wanted so I ask them to look into buying it from there. They tell me they will try and that they will get back to me. Another two weeks pass before I lose my patients and call to see what is going on with my iPod. Apparently they could not make a deal with that company and instead put another iPod they found in the "awaiting (my) approval" stage without ever have even contacting me about it. The man I'm talking to apologizes but not in a way that shows that he and his company are at fault. I'm mad but more than that I just want my iPod back so I agree to pay for the one they found. When I go in to pay on that Monday (because I had called on a Saturday) they let my take my old iPod back. It worked fairly well besides not being able to play music/video and not charging on certain docks. I noticed the home button was sticking down funny but payed it no attention. In a few days though somehow the side of my screen was sticking out and if I pressed it down it acted as if it were the home button. This causes it to constantly be stuck on Siris screen (whom I cannot talk to because my mic doesn't work). "Luckily" (you'll understand in a second), when I went in to get my new iPod they fixed it for me right away. But very soon after my home button no longer worked. I now have to use the assistive touch that Apple luckily has. My new iPod is in great condition, BUT they deleted my backup. I do not understand why they would have because it would have been simple to check if they needed my backup if they still had my device (which of course they did). Overall the reason I am not happy with this company is their customer service. Had that not been such an issue I could have gotten my new device much quicker and have been much more satisfied.
