Stephen R the salesman was extremely rude and dishonest. We discussed where the walls would go and I asked over three times before and after the measurements were done. He assured me they would be where we discussed. After he left and I was reading the contract I noticed he changed where the walls would end without telling me. Even though I asked him over and over again. I tried to contact him by text and calls, but he would not respond for over 36 hours until I mentioned canceling. Then he responded right away saying he doesn't care if I cancel. At least he finally responded. When I looked at his measurements they were completely changed and he didn't even tell me. He finally tried to fix it, but they were still the wrong measurements. They were to short and would have been a huge issue. I sent him the correct measurements and emailed and texted him many times after I just responded to his email within a few minutes. I said if you put the walls where we discussed and where you told me over and over again they would go when we discussed the plans everything would be fine. After hours went by and no response. I called the office to see if I could speak to a normal person. I got a woman named Taylor who was extremely rude and condescending. Every time I tried to speak she cut me off and spoke to me like she was so much smarter even though she didn't know what she was talking about and how the measuring was done for the shower. I called back two minutes later and asked if she was the woman I just spoke to and she tried to pretend like she didn't know. Finally she admitted it was her and reluctantly gave me her name. I asked for the email I need to send the cancellation papers too and she gave me the wrong email until I asked again a couple more times to get the correct one. I could not believe how rude and dishonest these people were before the work was even done. I could only imagine after the work was done and I could no longer cancel. They say there is a lifetime warranty but if you read it nothing is covered. It says any type of chips, scratches, damage from cleaning. Almost everything you could think of is not covered even the caulking has to be maintained by you and if they think you did that wrong anything arising from that is not covered. All of this for almost double the other estimates I received made me realize this wasn't for me. If the people weren't so rude and were honest I still might have went through with it and just spent the extra money but the extremely rude and dishonest people that I had the terrible experience of dealing with made me cancel. It's funny because once I sent Stephen the cancellation papers he responded right away like he was trying to get me to cancel. The three or four emails and texts that were sent hours before were read but not responded to. I am actually very glad that Stephen R does not know how to work a tape measure since this led to my cancellation along with the extremely rude people that I had the experience of dealing with. Luckily I canceled within the three day timeframe. This will just hurt my credit some, but save me tons of hassle from dealing with this company in the future. They should take some lessons from the nice woman working at the credit company and not have such a rude woman answering there phone at Reborn Cabinets. Now when I try to call and speak to accounting to get my refund back they just pick up the phone and hang up right away. I called in from a different number and spoke to a polite man named Aaron who finally had some customer service skills who sent an email to accounting department for me to find out why it's Wednesday and the money did not get refunded on Monday as I was told the previous time I spoke to accounting. He even asked me what number I was calling from so they could be aware and not answer or just hang up like they had been doing. I told him that you already have my home phone number why do you want to know what number this is just to add it to my name so the workers will just pick up and hang up or not pick up at all. I am so glad I did not go through with this project from this company and feel very bad for anyone who has to deal with them. They even hung up on me a few times while I was calling asking about my refund of the security deposit. Overall it was a horrible experience. Luckily I found an honest company to do the job for less than half the cost of there one day job that they do. I am fairly sure the reason they have a lot of good reviews is because they offered me a discount if I would leave a good review when the job is done. I am fairly sure most or all the reviews are paid for like they asked me to do for a discount. People are also afraid to leave an honest review because than their lifetime warranty that doesn't cover anything will probably not be honored or they won't even answer the phone if you call after you get on their bad side. It is very shocking the things this company does and gets away with.
