I was one of those brides that was extremely picky when it came to choosing a wedding photographer. I can't even begin to tell you how many photographer's websites, facebook pages, blogs I visited during my search. Old South Studios by far had the best looking photos as well as the greatest consistency of quality throughout all their weddings/engagement sessions.
I reached out to Julie and knew immediately that she was the one we had to have. Her personality is infectious. She is extremely friendly and outgoing, which immediately makes you feel comfortable in her presence.
Between our engagement session, a mini-sunflower thank-you card shoot, our wedding and a pregnancy announcement session, my husband and I have spent a lot of time with her. She gives great direction and is willing to speak up if something looks off (hair in face, hands look claw like, etc.). My husband is convinced that we are her favorite couple because of how friendly she is. I keep telling him that she is like that with everyone, but he refuses to believe me. The photos that we have gotten back from each of these shoots has always met our expectations: AMAZING. We still get compliments from friends about how much better our wedding photos are from the others they see on social media.
I recommend Julie to all of my friends that get engaged. Do yourself a favor and book her now, because she is a catch. Hands down the best wedding photographer in Charlotte.
