If you ever have an injury, you will quickly find the world divided into the kind and the rude. The owner here is rude and unkind. I'm standing on the boardwalk leading to the entrance for 5-10 minutes on one leg and crutches. I ask if I can sit for minute to think about the best way to get inside (I can manage stairs with my crutches if there aren't too any. ) So get this: the owner refuses to bring me a stool to sit and rest my one good leg even though there are plenty around. Owner: no, because I can't serve you outside the entranceway. Me: well can I just sit down for a minute? Owner: You can't block the entrance. Me: But I don't take up any more room than this chalkboard menu. There's plenty of room for me to sit off to one side for a minute. Owner: no I can't serve you out here. Seriously, this went on for about 5 minutes. No one is really that obtuse that they think I'm asking to be served liquor outside the entranceway so basically this owner is just being a rude, insensitive jerk. When some of the customers started to notice the exchange, he finally, grudgingly let me sit down. Many more friendly bars in the area.
