We have been here many times and I am utterly disappointed in our experience this past Sunday. My mother wanted to take us out for a nice holiday dinner and she suggested Del Frisco's because of the past experiences we have had. All but one, prior to this visit, were exceptional. There was a minor hiccup when we arrived, not that big of a deal so we overlooked it. Now, my mother was paying so my husband and I just ordered soft drinks because we did not want her bill to be exorbitant. We may as well have ordered many cocktails because she was charged for each tiny bottle of diet coke that was brought to us. YES, it padded the bill approximately 30+ dollars. She wouldn't tell us the exact amount, she was too upset, so we figured from the prices we knew that is was more close to $35. What a low rent move for a supposed high class restaurant. There is no mention of the price of soft drinks on line, and the menu is taken away when you order. Perhaps it is our bad to assume that they would be classier than...oh let's say Outback or any other restaurant that has free refills. We usually pay so it is not something that we had even noticed before. So thank you Del Frisco's for taking advantage of an old woman and ruining her holiday. Shame on all of you!
