I took my mom to Golfsmith to find some new irons, as she definitely needed an upgrade from her old clubs. We grabbed a few options that looked good and headed to the back of the store to try them out at the store driving area. This is where our AMAZING Golfsmith experience began. We ran into an attentive, patient and knowledgeable young man named Mike (last name McFarlane -- I specifically asked for his full name) who spent a great deal of time and attention helping my mom get what she needed. Not only did Mike show us options, he made sure my mom picked clubs that were right for her swing and her game. He didn't try to push certain products or upsell her on anything she didn't want or need. He also cut the driver and 3 wood to fit her, then walked us to the front of the store and checked us out. He is a WONDERFUL person with a great attitude and plenty of golf knowledge. I was hesitant to go to Golfsmith, but this experience (and Mike) completely changed my attitude!
