I wanted to love this place. They have talented people working here and their food is mostly fantastic. I'll start with the main reason why I won't be a regular customer. They had a big group come in after we got our food and we were seated. That's not unusual, and I didn't need looking after since you pay for your food at the counter and I was set. They kept letting people in so it wasn't as if it was a private function and we were intruding, there were other customers around. I just wanted to enjoy my time with my friend while sharing good food and conversation. But they kept slowly pushing us further and further into the corner until it was uncomfortable and it was made clear that we were second class customers who didn't matter. They made us feel like dirt. If you wanted to focus on one group alone, then close the place down for a private function instead of alienating your other customers. The food itself was good: the rapini pizza and the mortadella panini were great after they heated them up. So was the olive cake. Everything was a bit on the greasier side but I was willing to overlook it until we were treated the way we were. I'll keep looking for a better experience.
