This is a very interesting, slightly peculiar place as I have not experienced anything like it. You can really make a retreat out of your trip here if you're not from the area. You can stay at the ALT hotel, which despite its lovely decor, encourages you to leave the hotel and use the services of its neighbours. While you're there, you can do a little shopping, grab a bite to eat, go to the gym or yoga, visit the spa, and even catch a movie at either Cineplex or Cineplex VIP. It was an interesting visit. I can see that Brossard is really developing and this shopping complex seems to be the epicenter of excitement for this suburb.
But I am very perplexed how the stores make enough money during the cold months to stay in business. I can't imagine any one wanting to shop outdoors in -40C weather.
