When we travel we look for pet friendly hotels and we know that our choices are limited. I'll start by saying that the staff was super friendly and as courteous as they could be. We've stayed at many Red Roof Inns over the past few years. This facility didn't rate well compared to the others. The bathroom mirror was cracked. There was scum in the creases between the floor and the toilet (and the bathtub). The floor was a little sticky. The mattress was very uncomfortable. There was a poorly done plaster patch in the wall. The TV was mounted to the wall, and the cable box was dangling from it. If you didn't point the remote to the box you couldn't operate the TV. The hallway carpet had a strange geometric pattern that made you dizzy as you walked to your room. I believe this hotel is located in a high crime area. We stayed there for two nights (we booked four nights) and there were nearby police activities both nights. That's not the hotel's fault, but in all honesty we didn't feel safe. We checked out early.
