But when it comes to athletic shoes, I like buying at small stores rather than big box stores. You get better one on one service, however I deducted one star because the gal who was helping me dropped the ball as she was more interested in getting a free item from some vendor who happened to be in the store. After she disappeared, I took the shoes I wanted to purchase up to the cash register and stated to another gal "I'll take these as I have no idea where the person who was helping me went". When you have a customer who is spending $200 you can at least say "Can you excuse me for a few minutes".
