I love May's Alterations! I frequent this cute little shop everytime I get new jeans and slacks.
I'm on the taller side, so I always have the staff here take out the hem at the bottom of my pants to add a little extra length. I've also brought in two of my favorite pair of jeans. With both pair, I had accidentally ripped a rather large whole in just below the zipper while I was helping a friend move. (Embarrassing right?! )The staff here fixed these jeans up good as new, and the jeans were ready to wear in the same day. Truly flawless work! You couldn't event tell there was once a huge gaping hole in them.
I've also taken a few of my formal dresses here. One dress, a floor length formal gown, I had the staff convert into a fun-flirty cocktail style dress. And in the second dress I had a few "bones" (corset like pieces that add structure to a dress and your figure) installed to help the girls stay up in my sassy strapless bridesmaids gown. The after effect of this installment was a very happy and comfortable Brittany, a happy bride, and great pics in my super fly bridesmaid dress.
I have always been very pleased with May's quality of work and their customer service and I will continue to use their great services.
