I have long/thick/black hair. I come here often for cuts/colours/styles with Anthony and it's fantastic. I've never had a bad visit or style and I've been sending all my friends here ever since my first visit (3 or 4 years ago).
The staff are friendly, the place is clean and in a great location (although I don't really like the Yorkville crowd, it's close to the subway and there's a million places to park). It's always busy and the people are usually very chatty and it's a good social setting.
It's a bit on the expensive side but because of the nature of my hair, regardless of where I go, most people look at my hair and freak out. I'm just happy I found someone that encourages my length and doesn't immediately want to chop it all off. If you have LONG hair (past my bellybutton) and are keen on keeping length, I recommend Anthony. I've had so many bad experiences with people who say they're just giving me a 'trim' and I walk out with a bob. Anthony has never done this and when he promises to keep the length, he always delivers.
i haven't tried the spa services but I've heard so many amazing things (not just on yelp but word-of-mouth as well).
