Rethinking my thoughts on Target being a good company. I planned to purchase Easter gifts that could only be purchased online for my children but was short $15 on my credit card. So I put a payment online. After I didn't see it hit my account called the number posted. Yvonne told me that if I wanted it to post immediately I should cancel the payment and go to a store location and make a payment there. So I went out of my way to go to a Target store and make the payment. At the store I told the lady behind the customer service desk that I had been told to go there so that my payment would be immediately accessible. She took the payment and I went home. An hour later the payment was still not posted. I called customer service again. After having them pull up the wrong account and having to repeat my story several times the person on the other line finally says that it doesn't matter where you made the payment it still takes 24-48 hours to process. This seems not only pretty archaic to me but I had two individuals that could have told me not to make that payment at the store but didn't. I'm sure there was a way that this could have been worked out but they had no interest. Thanks for wasting my time Target. Maybe you should train your service people better so you don't lose customers.
