My daughter was born sick, she spend some time in NICU, then in outpatient care. On one of the first visits. Dr Hoodap shamed the outfit I was wearing. Apparently my hanger bleed some color into my blouse. He said he couldn't figure out, what the stain is coming from, but finally he realized it has a shape of a hanger. He shared his thoughts with me. It didn't come to his mind that single mom with sick kid may be too busy to stare at herself in the mirror. I just grabbed the blouse from the closet and didn't notice the stain. Later I cried from embarrassment in the car. I was so overwhelmed that time; joggling between work, visiting 5 different docs a week, and taking care of sick child. I dint expect anything like that from a doctor. This happened few years ago and I changed Pediatrician because of this.
