I've made 5 appointments with them. They didn't show up or call the for the 1st appt. Called me 2 days later to reschedule, blamed the mix up on a new dispatcher. Arrived an hour late after the 4 hour window ( because I have nothing else to do but wait for him), opened my freezer and said I needed a new ice maker. He didn't test anything just opened the freezer and said I need a new one, and it would be $300 for the new part unless didn't need a new water valve, then it would be $50 less $249.99. He then proceeded to try to put in a "universal" whirlpool ice maker only to decide it was the wrong model number ( not that anyone ever asked me for a model number when making the appointments). After trying for about an hour my fiance arrived and he said he had the wrong part, he's never seen this before and said he'd give us a $50 discount for the hassle bringing the price down to $249.99 ( I didn't need the valve it was no discount). I asked him to leave my old ice maker with us and he ignored that and took it anyway leaving a big hole in my freezer with exposed wire, I love that with 3 kids in the house. We scheduled for him to come again later in the week and again he was an hour later then the 4 hr window ( because we love taking off of work for ppl to not show). He put in the new part and said if its not making ice by 9 call them back. I came home from work at 6pm and my fiance came to the garage to update me that he was in there having a hard time with the new part and saying that the guy seemed frustrated and told my fiance that he doesn't do good work later in the day when he's tired, well in the 10 minutes that my fiance stepped away from him he managed to jam the ice maker in the freezer and pack up his tools. He knew it wasn't going to work. We scheduled for them to come again (4th time), when they called to say he was coming again an hour late, we told them not to it was my birthday it was almost 7 at night and we were having dinner & cake. We scheduled again (5th time) again he was late. I had my mom and my sister there with instruction that we've already paid $249.99 we're not paying more. He again couldn't get it to work told my mother that it was cracked and he would need to get another new part. My mom told him that we just wanted a refund. I don't know what started it but he argued with my mother. I heard them over the phone. I actually heard him try to refuse to speak to me when I called my sister to find out what was going one because "he didn't feel like fighting". Now I have no ice maker in my freezer, and I'm suppose to wait for a check in the mail for a refund, but not the whole amount. They keep $70 for the service fee which they advertise as being waived for 1st time customers. That was the reason why I contacted them, they had ads all over saying that the waive the service fee for 1st timers & $25 off ice maker repairs. Now I have to contact the manager for our money back.
