I purchased internet from Charter; the cable television would be nice, but in my opinion since they're the only cable service provider in town, they can charge as much as they want and people still will buy the full package. Plus with so many tv shows online, I stay plenty media-occupied with my internet. :) I'm giving 2 stars because the internet has decent enough speed for what I need (mostly web browsing and streaming tv; I don't do much downloading) with minimal connection issues. However, Charter makes a point to call me EVERY DAY to try to get me to upgrade, buy more services, etc. One time they showed up on my phone as No Number, so I answered, to find out it was Charter again (to whom I said to call me back and it wasn't a good time)! Once I say "No thanks," please STOP CALLING ME. What's worse is that lately they were leaving voicemails of ambient office chatter on my phone, so my voicemail box would fill up, and I'd have to go through all of their voicemails to delete them. What a pain! It was such a pain that I actually bought the $5/month phone blocking service from my cell phone provider to block their number. I shouldn't have to do that!!
