I lived in this complex from 2006 to 2016. The layouts are great, but the complex is really old. The first mgmt. company was Equity (nice people) and second was Greystar. I will never rent from a Greystar complex again! Over time we had over 5 different maintenance staff crews, and at least that many managers. With each change of mgmt the office just became ruder with each change of the guard. Each year came with more changes to rules from headquarters. The complex had lovely trees when we moved in, it was a nice wooded area. Each time they took out a tree it was not replaced. Too be fair we had an awful storm years ago that took out lots of Tukee trees. I just thought they could plant one or two. The landscaping looks tortured. The grass was removed from several areas and replaced with rocks. (I guess this complex is being reclaimed by the desert.) But with the landscape change the complex got less friendly looking. We had awful water bug-roaches, in the first unit we rented. My dog would help me corner them. Eeek! I never want to see one again! They are huge! We found the $1 store hair spray works great to stop them in their tracks! The windows are old and the walls don't seem to be insulated at all. You can hear everything, an the heat just pours in during the summer. My daughter's room was so hot in the summer she couldn't sleep in her room until we blocked the window with foamcore, which made the room about 10 degrees cooler. The A.C. in both apartments leaked buckets several times. The carpets are low quality with very little padding. The cupboards have been painted over and over and the paint comes off over time. Yuck! Windows and roofs have leaked on us and we had plumbing break in the wall. So many nice folks and families used to live here. It felt liked a community and we watched over each other. Something changed with Greystar. The neighbors became less desirable and the complex got trashy. People started moving away. These units are really over priced. The office really made people mad because they were so rude! Very sad.
