THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING WITH THIS SALON... or JAYMEE LAWRENCE ... I scheduled my make-up trial way ahead of time and on the day of the appointment (4/14), an hour before, artist, Lindsey, sent me a text message that she is cancelling the appointment. While I understand that we have medical concerns (stomach ache), I would think that she should've gotten in touch with Jaymee (the gal I spoke with to make the appointment), and perhaps send another artist to do the job. Why wait for an hour before? With this experience, I cancelled the entire booking for my wedding. I can not have unreliable people on the most important day of my life! With that said, Jaymee refused to return the deposit to hold the date as she said it was non-refundable, and that she is unable to book another one this late. While that may be true, it wasn't right that she kept my money for the way the situation turned out. We are both strangers to each other and only relying on your word and that word was taken lightly by your artist.
In a town full of PROFESSIONAL hair and make up artists, you'd think she would be careful and respectful treating clients. Word of mouth is such a powerful advertisement.
Jayymee should've taken responsibility for the unacceptable behavior of her artist. I hope you can sleep well and buy something nice with my $50 :-$
