What can I say... After attempting to find a decent dry cleaner, I thought I had found them. A 5 minute discussion about NOT creasing the cuffs on a French Cuff shirt got an absolute guarantee they would not do it, I even offered to pay extra. Low and behold when I picked up my cleaning there they were... beautiful French Cuffs pressed with a crease in the wrong place by 1 full inch. The young lady at the counter, after my minor rant, said she was expecting me to see that and they could have the shirts re-done by 4pm. I will be on a plane at 4pm. My question is this; IF they knew they made a mistake, why didn't they fix it without my having to force it. Were they expecting me not to notice and just accept their error? How many other clients have walked out without checking their clothes only to find a problem a day, week, or month later?? Other than their inability to follow my request, take action when a mistake was made, or fulfill their own promise to me... the shirts were well pressed. Sad, they lost a customer because of what I perceive to be a lack of interest in customer requests for specific cleaning.
