I went in Friday morning to buy a new backpack for my son to go hiking with his Boy Scout troop. At checkout the cashier asked if I had a coupon, which I did not.
I got home, checked my e-mail, and there was a coupon for $10 off... The e-mail was stamped 9:38 AM, my receipt was stamped 10:06 AM.
So Saturday morning I went back to Big 5 with my receipt, coupon and an attitude that I was going to have to argue to get my discount.
There was no argument. They refunded the difference without any question or problem.
Big 5 has a great selection, and their sale prices are usually very good. Now add great customer service.
