I'm not a fan of Sal's actually but I'll admit my bias is because The Ship and Anchor is right across the street and The Ship is far superior to Sal's in almost everyway. Therefore, I only go to Sal's if I'm desperate to sit on a patio with a beer and The Ship is just too full.
The have some comfortable chairs inside and a pool table and you can regularly find DJ's spinning electronic dance. They are a bit more expensive then The Ship but not outrageously so. And I know you are going to say that they deserve a better review then I am giving them but hey, remember location is everything.
