Matt's is in a league all it's own! Accidently stumbled upon it today when going to the new Mountainside Fitness located in the StateFarm Mega Campus surrounding Tempe Town Lake. Considering my wife and I are absolute foodies to the core, we both dropped the ball on this place! As in how have we not heard of and already made this gem a regular in our good eats rotation!
Now for the food!
Me: The Five Spot, 2 eggs real butter cage free, 2 ridiculously thick pieces of suculant bacon, Wisconsin cheddar on a hand made roll! This thing was 5 bucks... Get real! I'd show you if I didnt eat it too fast!.
Wife: Cheese Ommlett: honestly we didnt speak the entire meal nor have time to look at each other's plates; too concentrated and focused on each and ever bite! So, it was spectacular or my wife would have been chatting away as usual!
Please if for no other reason you come here though, at least venture in to have a glass of the no lie 100% winner of a prize I will only give out once in this lifetime...... World's Best Lemonade Period... Ok so this award won't be featured in the NY Times, and I don't have a plaque or ribbon, however you do have permission to add this prestigious title to your official menu! Who knew honey was the missing ingrediant in each amnd every lemonade recipe world wide! #SaveTheBees
Concluding this essay I've typed up for you other locals, and or tourist/ASU parents, let's recap your options: IHop, Chompies, U.S Egg, Sooze. Let me solve the dilema of having options, and point you to the lakeside eatery I've been to only once and know where all future breakfast\brunch\lunch dollars will go if we are eating out!
PS stellar service, every single staff member was vigiliant, respectful, and happy. Had a Trader Joe staff kind of feel if you know what I mean!
