This absolutely the most horrible place I have ever been. I live at melrose and my experience has been horrendous since the beginning. Firstly (which should have scared me off to begin with) the leasing agent was 3 HOURS LATE to the apartments on the day that I was to move in. I have given verbal requests for maintenance which have been forgotten and ignored. My patio light and my CO2 monitor have been broken since February. Now my electric bill sky rockets for no known reason, yes I know it's summer and yes I know how to use my electricity in the summer this has never been an issue, in a 500 sq foot apartment my usage was well over 1000 KW which is absurd. So I called APS and they suggested to have the apartments take a look. Naturally I put in the request for maintenance stating that I needed someone to make sure my AC wasn't working too hard especially because I keep my air on 78, not to mention I work full time so I am barely home, and then THE NEXT DAY they closed it stating the work was done. I didn't even know that it was closed and I received a review for my maintenance and I thought that it was a fluke, so I waited and waited and a few days later finally decided to put in a nasty review and check out the "office", which is an empty unit that has been moved about 3 times since February without alerting any of the tenants and not to mention I have never seen the same person working here twice, the lady was quick to know who I was because of the scathing review I put in (obviously that gets some attention) and still not for a WEEK did someone come to look at my AC. And when I say someone I mean a maintenance man who came into my apartment stuck a thermometer in my vent and then LITERALLY SHRUGGED AT ME and told me it's fine. I asked him multiple questions about the unit and he was very rude on answering them as if I was the inconvenience here because there is something definitely wrong and I needed some help. So he left and I put in ANOTHER request asking someone to look at my insulation and the non existent weather stripping on my doors and windows. Not only am I absolutely livid that I am being treated like nothing especially considering the fact that the rent is absolutely insane for this trash heap of a complex I am now also completely broke because of my electric bills. I can't get anyone to help me figure out where all of this electricity is magically going in my apartment because I sure as heck am not using it.
So run.
Run from this company. They will not help you. They do not appreciate you. They only want your money. I am breaking my lease as soon as possible this is an absolute joke.
This is an update. I broke my lease last August it has almost been one year and still this management company and apartment are finding new ways to mess up my life. I am applying for an apartment that needs rental verification for 2 years. The verification has been sent to Jaime MULTIPLE times and weeks have passed with nothing. He told me he could not find me in the system then magically I was found again. After speaking to him myself and asking him to please send in the verification as it had been 2 weeks since it was sent he still has not done it. Now 3 weeks has gone by and I am at my limit. I am not able to rent because of this laziness. I have called corporate but NOBODY will help me because he is the only one who will. I left a voicemail for Yolanda the regional manager who is conveniently out. I cannot believe that this place is still giving me a hard time. If you need to rent from anywhere and you see this sign in front you should turn around and run because down the road they will still find a way to treat you wrong. A disgusting show of customer service
