This isn't my first time at Pedal, but it was my first time for a service related issue. I needed them to remove a crown race. They did it immediately and didn't charge me. I had intended to install the new race and press on the headset myself but for the amount of time and driving around it would have taken to make a do-it-yourself headset press and crown race installer, I just decided to go back to Pedal. Once again, immediate service and no charge. Having been an avid mountain biker since the 90's, I never expect bike shops to do immediate service since that typically isn't their policy and you're not the only bike they need to service. So the immediate service I got today was surprising and much appreciated. This is why local bike shops are great and while you can buy parts online, you can't get this kind of service online.
