This isn't my first time at Pedal, but it was my first time for a service related issue. I needed them to remove a crown race. They did it immediately and didn't charge me. I had intended to install the new race and press on the headset myself but for the amount of time and driving around it would have taken to make a do-it-yourself headset press and crown race installer, I just decided to go back to Pedal. Once again, immediate service and no charge. Having been an avid mountain biker since the 90's, I never expect bike shops to do immediate service since that typically isn't their policy and you're not the only bike they need to service. So the immediate service I got today was surprising and much appreciated. This is why local bike shops are great and while you can buy parts online, you can't get this kind of service online. Great shop.
