Nu bugel does it right. Like most have noted it is not a NYC boiled bagel, nor is it a straight up Montreal style oven baked bagel. Too thick to be true Montreal, too crispy to be an NYC. The wife and I had an everything bagel, an onion, and a coconut bagel. All great!! The everything had a lot of salt and some caraway seeds on them if you don't like either of those, less normal to find those ingredients on an everything. Never seen a coconut bagel before, wife really liked them. The smoked salmon cream cheese was also a good choice, almost like a chive cream cheese with bits and pieces of smoked fish mixed in versus the overpowering flavor that a lot of lox flavored cream cheeses get. Well done, will be back the next time in Toronto!
