Tonight we had to walk out of my favorite Mexican restaurant. After being seated immediately in the dining room, in the front, first booth behind the register. The restaurant wasn't very busy maybe 8 to 12 people in the dining room, but there was no wait staff to be seen, after waiting more than 10 mins for someone to acknowledge our presence my husband decided to grab the closest waiter and asked him to help us. Instead of being apologetic for making us wait, because he had already taken and returned with a drink order of a couple that came in after us, he was rude and snapped stating "I am coming now!" and we told him what we would like to drink and before he left I asked him if we could go ahead and place our dinner order(since we had been waiting a long time already and had more than enough time to look over the menu) and he reluctantly said yes. Ok I've lived here in Charlotte all of my life and I've been eating here since I can remember, I ordered one of my usuals chicken chimichanga no onions please, when the waiter quickly spoke up and said I could not order chicken chimichangas without onions... Wait? What?
So in order to avoid what was already to be a very bad dining experience. I just excused ourselves and left... Im very disapointed with Azteca.. And I can't say I will never return but in the years I have been eating there I've had slow service but this was blatently rude and unwilling to accomodate...
