This was not the experience I hoped for....
The filet mignon was excellent.. The rest was mediocre at best. The "signature" garlic bread was not garlicky at all. The creamed spinach was runny, you needed a spoon to eat it. The whipped potatoes were too thin and had no "whip". For dessert we ordered the plain cheesecake and the cherries jubilee. The cheesecake was very flat and mediocre at best and the cherries Jubilee was runny and not good. Then I ordered a cappuccino that said it had 8 different liqueurs in it, however it was way too strong and was basically liquor, no cappuccino flavor.
The ambience of the restaurant is nice and it is definitely old school! I loved the decor and the old leather booths. But if you're looking for a nice steakhouse with a good meal this is definitely not the place for you. If you are looking for old-school ambience and mediocre food then go for it!
