Well I'm never coming here again.
I went in to buy some first aid kits for a Cub Scout den event and saw that the travel kits were $1.49 on the Walgreens website. In store they are $1.99. At the counter I asked the cashier to verify the price and she calls over another lady named "Tina". I don't know her rank or title but it shouldn't be anything related to customer service. Her exact response was "that's 'cause we're a higher store, oh well, that's just the way it is. We don't price match" on a side note she suffered from a serious case of raging RBF but either way, a store manager came over. She kindly explained that the online stores have buyers that get better deals. I stated that they offer free shipping to store so essentially, if I clicked purchase online, I could walk into this store and get the kits for the online price. The manager agreed that was a possibility but wouldn't adjust the price. Fifty cents times 1 kit for every Cub Scout in the den isn't going to break the bank but it does add up. I did appreciate the store manager explaining to me why the policy is the way it is, even though I think it's dumb, it's not her policy and not her fault. Tina on the other hand needs to walk hard into a brick wall and reset the think box if she doesn't plan on drifting through life as an angry troll. Cashier was nice enough, manager was fair, Tina was a failed abortion but regardless, I don't plan on going back. There's a CVS not to far down, a Smiths, Target on Blue Diamond and even a Walmart for when I want to see adults parading around in house robes and pajamas. Never again returning to Walgreens, and I have kids in public school. Germs flow around those buildings like wildfire. That's a lot of cough syrup and antibiotics I could have bought there.
