I came here to participate in their "Taste Lab". I had the opportunity to sample two different whiskies (for free!). I really enjoyed the "Watson", which had a sweet, subtle, and nutty taste which I really loved. I look forward to its production!
Afterwards, my boyfriend and I were invited to help label some bitters bottles and received complimentary cocktails as we worked. I loved the blueberry cocktail and even purchased a 750 mL bottle of the American wheat with the expectation of making the drink at home!
We had the chance to meet Mary-Ellen, one of the co-owners who was friendly, polite, and inviting. The story surrounding the conception of Wigle was delightful and it appears that everybody involved in this project loves what they do. I really enjoyed visiting this independent distillery and found it refreshing to be a part of a project that is full of adventure and passion!
