This right here is a nice and modern park. I've never been a big fan of downtown Phoenix, or the Dbacks in general. But I like the ambiance of Chase. Parking is easy around the area, and the fans that attend are for the most park engaged in the game. There are a bunch of college students here due to its proximity to ASU in nearby Tempe. I've been to my fair share of games here for an out of towner, and everytime I come, I really enjoy watching the game. Seats are comfortable and nicely spaced (unlike Fenway!). Concourses are nice and big. But the feature here is the retractable roof. It's massive and pretty awesome when it's open, letting in the desert sun. On summer nights, the AC is crazy strong, because it actually gets a little chilly with the roof closed. Food is ok, but I'm spoiled being from the SF Bay Area. I'll give it props though for keeping prices at "reasonable" levels so us lay people can actually afford to eat while catching a game. All in all, good park - probably in the top 10 that I've been.
