If you haven't been to Price's Chicken Coop, you're missing out on the best fried chicken in Charlotte - this is a fact. Price's has been around probably longer than I have and with good reason. The location is awful but, is it worth it? YES! If you give money to beggars - bring an extra buck or 2 because half the time there's someone just outside asking for money (hey, it's true - I'm not knocking them). You'd think the location would be a deterrent for your more businessy types but, all walks of life are found at Price's. If you want the best fried food that you've ever put in your face-hole - you can't beat Price's. You can't eat in - it's to go but, I wouldn't dare call it fast food (I also wouldn't dare call it healthy - it's what they call "food for the soul"). PS. my grandma (who has lived in dilworth for longer than I've been alive) says the fried fish at Showmars is better. (Still, the fried chicken is the best).
