After my first experience of the Super 8 chain, and beforehand being warned of the awfulness of all the 8's I can say with complete confidence that it was great. The reception was clean, the staff were professional and the room was spacious with a huge TV and all the comforts I could possibly need. We were downtown so perfect for hitting the party scene immediately. We were 'so' downtown that our window faced directly onto the escalators in the mall. The escalator was so close, if my window was open they could reach in and stroke my head. Many could take this as a negative, not me. I reckon they were tipped off on my exhibitionist ways and thought maybe I'd like the audience.
$113 for a big room, with breakfast, in downtown Toronto sounds like great business to me.
P.s. I forgot to mention, you can get a room with a jacuzzi. Nice!
