I have been waiting for months for the grand opening of the downtown Heinen's. I am a downtown resident which means there are limited places to grocery shop in the area so I had to go check it out on opening day. Let me tell you I was not disappointed!! This store is AMAZING! When you first walk in there is an expresso bar to order lattes, mochas and iced coffees. As I continued on into the store, the selections were incredible. There is a deli, salad bar, fresh seafood, world wide cheese collection, bakery, ect. They also have a large selection of organic and gluten free options. The wine and beer selection on the upper level of the rotunda was unreal. There is a ridiculously large selection of beers and wines. You can also create your own six pack! A really cool feature is they have are wine dispensers, allowing you to try chilled, self serve wines by the glass. Everyone was so helpful and nice and was able to point me in the right direction if needed. I will probably be back here weekly, whether it's to shop, grab a coffee, pick up some wine, or grab some dinner!!
