Just WOW. Never stayed at a Mandarin Oriental until this month and was in for a treat. Great customer service, attention to detail and expensive too! Where should I start for our 3 night stay?
1) you are served tea or water upon check-in; I got the tea and they served it on a nice tray right in front of you
2) there are 2 large pools and 3 smaller jacuzzi's; plenty of room for everyone and it's not crowded or rowdy either. definitely 'zen' for the clients they serve
3) parking is only valet and $30 per night; that's hefty! you get in/out privileges obviously
4) gym facilities are nice and you get free water bottles in there to quench your thirst after a swim at the pool
5) closet valet box inside the room is so useful; that's where they put all the items you request such as newspaper, extra towels, etc.
6) bath salt for you to use when taking a bath in the tub; while I didn't get to use it - my husband did and said it was bliss.
7) MO bistro downstairs serves fabulous morning pastries; definitely take your pick
8) the hotel is within walking distance to Crystals, Cosmopolitan, M&M World, Planet Hollywood and more - everything seems within easy reach. It's just a mere 10-15 min walk and boom, you're there.
9) they tried to upgrade our room upon arrival to Dynasty but we declined; our Strip View room was good enough. We were on the 21st floor with perfect front-facing views of the strip; so awesome. We were just next to the Emperor's Suite in fact. haha :)
10) only drawback is they don't have loyalty program for guests; BUT we want to go to another Mandarin Oriental after this visit!!!
