I can't figure out why so many people here are down on this place and complaining about the prices. Did you lose money at the casino beforehand? Were you too intoxicated on arrival to recognize your surroundings? Of course there's going to be a bit of a line and the prices are a bit high - you're right there on one of the most prime pieces of high traffic real estate in the world! You pay for what you get sometimes, so come in with the right mind set and you'll be very pleased. The portions are huge, the whole concept is whimsy and fun, and if you can't eat it all it's okay. Think of all the buffet food you passed up earlier in the trip and enjoy what you want on your terms. It's frickin Vegas. These sundaes are as good as you'll get anywhere, the food is casual, delicious-not-trancendent and exactly what I expected, and to be able to walk right into Absinthe (the best show in LV period) and walk then right into the old school icon that is Caesars Palace all right there - it's perfect. Get a beer to wash down the chill pill and accept the strip for what it is, and what it isn't. Viva!
