Toronto Pearson Airport + Air Canada = SH**Y travel experience!! Please see my review on Air Canada for the full experience (http://www.yelp.com/biz/air-canada-toronto-2#hrid:ZEcGYbRUjtXedS37AIz-Yw) Basically this is a beautiful airport as stated in the reviews: clean, modern, and spacious. However lack of signage or attendants. Workers here are irate, rude and lack customer service skills. Kiosks at the day of my flight were unmanned for a while. There wasn't any signage explaining the different terminals (domestic vs international)....see my review on Air Canada to see my frustration on this. I was charged $25 by Air Canada to haul my check-in luggage from the kiosk, through the customs line right at the baggage conveyor, which was to the far right of the security check point REALLY? Plus, they ended up leaving my baggage so I had no clothes and beauty necessities for my trip to NYC! They messaged me at La Guardia and told me my luggage was on the next flight. Well, three days later. And the customs line...well on the day of my trip the computers were down so we waited in line for two hours until we were able to go through. Great! So I was scrambling to get through security and was late for my flight. They held the flight but the Air Canada attendent badgered us about being late and told us to come earlier to avoid situations like this. UM...how about you keep your computers on, buddy! My group was there 4 hours before our flight since we knew we were a big group and we have a worry wart in our group. However, thanks to the MINIMAL service and lack of attendants at the kiosks or any signage we were still late. Thanks Toronto Pearson for making my exit of Canada a memorable and HAPPY one. Happy to leave!!!
