1. Clean 2. Updated 3. Close proximity to airport and outlet mall 4. Friendly, professional staff 5. Shuttle to the strip with at least a 30 minute request 6. Shuttle to the airport with at least a 30 minute request 7. Shuttle to vicinity with at least a 30 minute request (outlet, Walmart) 8. Freshly baked cookies at the front desk after 7PM 9. Comfortable bed, spacious room 10. Free continental breakfast (mostly bread, fruit, cold hard-boiled eggs, waffle maker, biscuits and gravy) This is my go-to hotel for a quick trip to Vegas. Most hotels on the strip began charging a $36 resort fee since late 2015 / early 2016. Some of them even charge for valet now. La Quinta offers an alternative if you simply need a very comfortable and quiet place to stay. The area is on the other side of the airport away from the casinos, which means light traffic, ample parking, and affordability. Despite being beside the airport, I hardly notice airport noise. The only things missing are proteins for breakfast (sausage, bacon, egg - cold hard boiled does not count). But for a hotel that won't hurt your wallet, perhaps I'm just asking too much. =)
