I have loved this place since I was a kid. Is it nostalgia? Maybe a bit but honestly, there's a reason it's popular - just look at the lines during the summer. It's mostly a soft serve place with loads of cone options, avalanches (think dairy queen blizzard but better), shakes, etc.
My go-to has been and will always be a chocolate brownie avalanche. Chocolate soft serve with delicious brownies, I always ask that they layer instead of mixing...the brownie pieces are larger and so so much better. But honestly I've sampled a decent chunk of the menu and have never been dissatisfied, there's something for everyone.
They now have small cups for the avalanches and I find that to be more than enough. At under $4 you can't beat it. Great on hot days or just when you have a craving.
