This place is modern and beautifully designed. I love the minimal decor in the store, it's very appealing and the dessert just makes you want to come back.
My hunny and I decided to give this place a try and go on a foodie adventure because we he has friends in CA asking us to take them here when they come down to visit in the summer. So we decided to drive from the opposite side of town, 40 MINUTES, to eat their ice cream. On one condition, he had to take me to IKEA first, lol.
Overall, their desserts were delicious. I ordered the taro waffle with vanilla custard. The texture of their custard was so smooth. My 11 month old daughter loved it, she literally started to cry once she realized it was all gone. My bf ordered the green tea waffle with green tea custard. He very much enjoyed it, but I would probably get the swirl next time because it has a pretty strong matcha taste.
This place would get a 5 stars but my one disappointment was my Vietnamese iced coffee... it tasted like a mocha hazelnut or something. Very far from the Vietnamese coffees I buy from restaurants or make myself. It had a really strong coffee taste but it wasn't Vietnamese coffee. It ended up giving me a headache and I could only drink a quarter of it.
Oh and I left my wallet in here and the worker ran out to hand it to me. Awesome customer service! Thanks Recess
