I used to go to middle school right next door to this place, so it's safe to say I've been here quite a few times in my life.
The Schiele always intrigued me with the variety of things they had to offer. While I wasn't a huge fan of the exhibits inside, I always loved the outdoor nature trails & exhibits. They have a Native American exhibit outside which I always loved walking through. Inside, the displays never seemed anything special to me, as nothing moved, which is what intrigues kids. They also have a planetarium where they have astronomy type lessons & such.
The Schiele is a good little museum tucked away in Gastonia & I always loved going here in my elementary & middle school years.
