Our guide Kevin was fantastic. He was SUPER chatty though, so heads up if you're not into that. He took us to lots of stops in the valley of fire and let us rock climb and had a lot of information. The tour included a lunch buffet and that's when it turned weird. Instead of a buffet, he took us to a restaurant at Planet Hollywood where you ordered a la carte and everything was $5.99. So, most buffets on the strip are about $30 per person, we felt a bit slighted by this but we were hungry from all the hiking. We brushed it off at first, but then the waiter started pressing us about how we were paying. It became a really big deal and was awkward, plus the food wasn't very good. The price of the groupon was worth the tour and hiking in the valley of fire, but I wish we were taken to a legitimate buffet. Side note, there were four of us crammed into a compact suv that smelled like take out. It wasn't a vehicle intended for tour groups.
