Terrible experience. Rented my car through carrental.com for a great price but when I got to the counter, they tried to dupe me into buying supplemental liability insurance (SLI), which would have multiplied my total cost by 110%. Then they insisted that they couldn't release the car to me unless I bought the SLI and that they couldn't guarantee my refund if I didnt take it because I booked through car rental (although the charge showed up as EZ car rentals). They accused me of not reading the fine print but as I had read it, I called BS and they pulled out some faded document with some ambiguous policies. Took over an hour before I walked away with the car (without the SLI) and the person at the desk acted like he did ME a favor. It was unprofessional, deceitful, and obnoxious. But, as the I booked the car (car was in very good shape) for a great price, I cannot completely discredit that part. If you are still interested in booking from them, here is the official policy on their website when you search for Las Vegas Airport "SLI: The purchase of optional insurance products is not required to rent the Vehicle. Optional insurance products that we sell may provide coverage that duplicates coverage provided by your personal automobile liability policy or by another source of coverage..: The apparent exceptions, in which they can force you to get SLI are: if you a NV resident (which I am not), pay with a debit card (which I didnt), or are 24yo or younger (which Im not). Good luck and no thank you to Aaron, the customer service rep who claims to have been working there for 8 years but clearly doesn't know the company's policy.
