Snack'n Blues lives up to their name. A variety of candy (I'm not talking months-old mints here, but fuzzy peaches and sour patch kids) greets you at the door. The DJ has been living in his booth since I'm guessing the real days of disco. The man's got good taste, and he's happy to take your fitting requests. A pool table and a pull-down screen above the bar that displays music videos and performances are sure to get you and your pals in a good-time mood. However, things have changed a bit in the last year or so. The prices have gone up, the bartender services have gone down. The weekends are a bit too packed. I suggest hitting Snack'n Blues either relatively early on a weekday or for a weekend nightcap. Snack'n Blues might not make your top 3 nightlife spots, but it is definitely worth checking out, if only for its ingenuity and its institution status around the neighbourhood.
