If you love Monta then there's no way for you to not like Ramen Kobo. The place is small just like Monta so be prepared to wait. We only had to wait for 15 minutes which was not too bad. The service is little to none. They seat and take your order and they don't come back until you are ready for your check. I ordered my favorite which is the tonkatsu with the soft boiled egg. The soup and noodles were on point like always. The broth was super flavorful and the noodles were yummy. I don't know if this is becoming a trend with noodle places but the soft boiled egg is cold and precooked before hand. Am I the only one turned off by this? I dunno, I just like how it used to be freshly made in most places. They have red ginger and garlic you can add to the ramen which makes it more flavorful. Definitely will come back since it's so close to home. Try the ramen spicy! It tastes great both ways depending on what you're feeling.
